Rob takes it to the opposition, and Charlie has a treat for Adam.
Johnny's back from Leeds having enjoyed some time with step dad Eamon. He'd have stayed longer if it wasn't for today's cricket match. Tom's pleased with Johnny's work on the farm; they make a good team. He reckons John would have been proud.
Pre-match, temporary captain Adam's talking tactics with Charlie. Charlie's hoping it'll only be another week before he's fit to play. We'll see how you shape up at nets, teases Adam. Later Charlie impresses Adam with his invitation to an executive box at Edgbaston. Adam declares himself officially jealous.
As Ambridge notch up a respectable total Johnny's put in to bowl. He does badly. Adam reassures him; Waterley Cross have good batsmen. Ambridge rally and record a win. Happy Adam marks his birthday tomorrow by scoring a century. But it's Rob who outshines them all to get man of the match. Helen's proud, but Rob's modest. He encourages Johnny, offering to give him some tips at nets next time. As Rob leaves with Helen and Henry for a Father's Day supper, he knows he's a lucky man. Helen too feels she's lucky; she can't wait to put her wedding ideas into action, and to become Mrs Titchener. Her parents are going to be so excited at their news!
