It is the first day of the individual apparatus finals, with the day's events including the men's pommel horse and the women's uneven bars. Great Britain have the reigning European champions in these two disciplines, with Max Whitlock and Becky Downie both set to defend their crowns. Downie could be joined in Montpellier by her 15-year-old sister Ellie, the current European junior vault champion, who is now eligible for selection for the senior event.
