Steve Davis talks about his gratitude to Spitting Image for giving him a nickname, his autobiography and the difference between playing with flair and grinding out a result: "Alex (Higgins) would come to the table, he'd be sniffing, tapping his cue on the table....he'd be trying to headbutt the ball into the pocket, that wasn't the talent, he just decided to gamble a bit more on his shots.".
