Katie Derham presents a concert performed by the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in Glasgow's City Halls in January. Mendelssohn's 1st Symphony is followed by a new trombone concerto by the young Spanish composer, Francisco Coll performed by Simon Johnson. Then the orchestra take centre stage in Beethoven's powerful Symphony no.7.
