The BBC Philharmonic this week explores Haydn symphonies with the conductor, Nicholas Kraemer. Also this week, the orchestra performs the ninth symphonies of Beethoven, Schubert and Vaughan Williams. Tomorrow afternoon there's a live concert of music by the Argentine, Alberto Ginastera and on Friday the orchestra plays some of the most popular English music in the repertory Elgar's Enigma Variations and Second Symphony and Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending.
