Inspector Lestrade was made to look a fool in the Sherlock Holmes stories.

Now he is writing his memoirs, he has a chance to get his own back, with more tales of Holmes' rivals.

This time, Lestrade collaborates with Dr James Thorndike, as they try to protect Pastor Wayne Kaplan after he receives death threats.
