Jimmy Savile's victims might not get the compensation they are hoping for according to trustees of a charitable trust which receives money from the disgraced TV presenter's estate.
The trustees of the Jimmy Savile Charitable Trust say they're concerned that potential victims who are making claims against the disgraced TV entertainer may not actually get the money they're expecting. The charity is the main beneficiary of the Savile estate and says too much money is being spent on legal fees. British Gas announces it's cutting household gas prices by 5%, cutting annual energy bills on average by 37 pounds. A woman whose mother has just weeks to live after developing an infection at a care home in Surrey, says the Care Quality Commission should have disclosed "significant failings in safety and quality of care" at the home sooner.
