Dougie joins Callan Duck from the Sea Mammal Research Unit as he carries out a survey of newborn Grey Seal Pups. The survey takes place every two years and is the only effective way of measuring the Grey seal population around the coast.

The Forestry industry needs to recruit an extra 3000 workers by 2020. Sarah went along to a Forestry school near Inverness to find out about the range of careers available in the Forestry sector.

Euan investigates the range of different Christmas trees on the market. He is joined in Tyrebagger Forest by Nursery school pupils from Aberdeen who are picking their classroom tree.

In recent years Scotland has seen an explosion in artisan botanical Gins. Nick visits Scotland’s smallest gin distillery before indulging in a tasting session with some expert supervision.
