The pressure of looking after Patrick is taking its toll on Denise. Shabnam sees another side to Denise when she tries to help. Dean is left reeling when Shirley confides in him. Jane returns to Albert Square but has some very worrying news.
Ian and Jane are frantic with worry but just as their fears are allayed, Jane's concerns grow. Denise makes a shocking discovery at Patrick's allotment. As Sonia prepares to go away with work she becomes very cagey when pushed on details.
Denise is panicked by her discovery and seeks advice from Masood - should she tell Ian the truth? Jane and Ian disagree about Bobby. Just as it seems they are making headway, they receive some shocking news.
