Series about the First World War, told through the eyes of the children who were alive at the time. The young French girl Emilie Bonnet and her brothers waited patiently for the War to end and for the horrors to be over. The children were supposed to be happy and excited about their father's return. But their father was dead. For them, the war wasn't over.
