This week Business Scotland looks at whether Made in Scotland or Made in Britain is seeing something of a revival. The perception is that our manufacturing base has dwindled - yet we now make more than we ever did and official growth figures earlier this year showed a surge in manufacturing. Gillian Marles also looks at another trend - companies shifting production from abroad back home - so called re-shoring. She finds that as prices and wages rise in countries such as India and China, Scotland and the rest of the UK is looking like a much more attractive prospect.
