Gillian Marles looks at whether manufacturing in Scotland or Britain is seeing a revival, plus she investigates the trend of companies shifting production from abroad to back home.

This week Business Scotland looks at whether Made in Scotland or Made in Britain is seeing something of a revival. The perception is that our manufacturing base has dwindled - yet we now make more than we ever did and official growth figures earlier this year showed a surge in manufacturing. Gillian Marles also looks at another trend - companies shifting production from abroad back home - so called re-shoring. She finds that as prices and wages rise in countries such as India and China, Scotland and the rest of the UK is looking like a much more attractive prospect.
