Lives at risk due to ambulance wait times?

"We do not believe that it is acceptable to wait 1 hour 50 minutes for an ambulance response, especially when an 11 year old is suffering pain." That's the stinging admission from the ambulance service after a young boy was left in agony after being injured playing football.
Should people give money to beggars and keep them on the streets?

Don't give beggars money, it's an act of cruelty rather than kindness. That's the message from the founder of the Big Issue. John Bird hit out after Ed Milliband was seen giving a few pence to a young girl asking for help. Mr Bird says the Labour leader should know that giving money to beggars will keep them on the streets, and lead to more problems.
