Further information:
“Nine Steps to Well-Being: A Spiritual Guide for Disconnected Christians and other Questioning Journeyers” is the newly published book by Roy Jenkins’ guest this week.
Steven Smith is Professor of Political Philosophy and Social Sciences at the University of South Wales. He’s worked in social and psychiatric services, began his research career at Oxford looking at welfare benefits, and been a parliamentary lobbyist for a major disabilities charity. His academic career has majored on themes such as justice and equality.
But this book is a very personal work, a statement of faith chronicling his conversion to Christianity, his divorce after 20 years of marriage, and his unquenchable desire to ask questions. He talks to Roy about his personal faith journey which led him to write the book which he hopes will be an aid to others on their spiritual quest.
