Aidan O'Rourke is one of Scotland's leading folk musicians. A composer, producer and accomplished fiddler he's a member of the ground-breaking trio Lau and has formed the instrumental band Kan.

In this gem from the BBC Radio Scotland archives we hear Aiden talking to Phil Cunningham he picks tracks by Silly Wizard, Capercaillie, Massive Attack, Phil Bancroft and Steve Reich.

Phil opens the show with Aidan's track An Tobar and closes the programme with the track One Two Three from his new band Kan.
