Street Child Africa
We work with local partner organisations in sub-Saharan Africa to support children living and working on the street. These children are denied access to education, excluded from healthcare systems and subjected to multiple forms of violence and abuse. We give them opportunities, encouragement and the hope that life can be different.
Street and Community outreach

Safe Spaces

Visiting one of our drop-in centres or temporary residential centres can offer a different path for street children. Drop-in centres provide a safe haven and a routine; a place for children to bathe, wash their clothes, sleep and eat a nutritious meal. A place to just be kids without fear of abuse or ridicule.
Education and Skills Training

The children we meet on the street don’t have the time or money to go to school or acquire the skills they need to find safe and well paid work. We work to deliver education on the streets, through drop-in centres, in crèches, by supporting children through school and vocational training, such as carpentry, tailoring and hairdressing.
