Today features Sibelius from the BBC Philharmonic in Manchester, Ives from the Ulster Orchestra as part of their summer series of American music, and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra in Perth playing a Mahler symphony and an overture by anniversary composer Benjamin Britten.
