Do you hear what I hear?
Christmas, for many, it seems, begins with the sound of the Salvation Army Band playing carols in the town centre but why does it strike such a chord? Roy Jenkins explores its popularity and also the meaning and motivation behind the music of the Sally Army band when he visits the Bus Project, which runs five nights a week in the centre of Cardiff providing hot food, clothes and advice for the homeless and vulnerable; and also Ty Gobaith, literally a house of hope, for those seeking accommodation and a chance to rebuild their lives.
