Food Poverty

The number of people using Food Banks was reported to have tripled this year, putting the spotlight on what has become known as Food Poverty.

The Trussell Trust that runs Foodbanks says hunger in Wales and the rest of the UK is getting worse with one in four people having experienced food poverty in the last 12 months.

In this week's programme we look at the organisations aiming to provide a nutritious and healthy diet to all. Rachael Garside is at the Food Co-op in Llanelli, calls in on the Foodbank in Carmarthen and Huw Jenkins helps out with Fareshare deliveries in Llandudno.
