MPs finally got their chance on Friday to discuss the merits of a referendum on Britain staying in or getting out of the European Union. The Commons chamber was packed at the start of a lively five-hour debate on a backbencher's Bill. Mark D'Arcy has the best of a busy day at Westminster.
