Slippery, Slithering and Riveting Tales

Slippery, Slithering and Riveting Tales

Frogs, toads, newts, lizards, and snakes are perhaps not the most glamorous of creatures but enthusiasts believe they should enjoy a higher profile. With five native species of reptiles and six native species of amphibians in Wales the challenge is on to encourage us to get involved in their conservation. Rachael Garside meets Mark Barber from Amphibians and Reptiles Conservation Trust and goes in search of some of our more slippery creatures.

If you have any sightings of our Welsh Dragons or want to get involved you can join a local Amphibian and Reptile Conservation group near you.
