Mark Rickards has been producing radio documentaries for BBC Scotland which take him to some unusual and dramatic corners of the world. From the rainforests of South America to the edge of the Arctic circle in Alaska, Mark has brought back the soundscapes and stories that can inspire and intrigue the listener.
In this programme he describes the challenges as well as the pleasures of making radio around the world, and lets us into the secrets of successful recording along the way.
