Whitney’s nervous about her play scheme interview. Bianca’s anxious about getting Liam to school. Ray offers to have a word but Liam rebuffs his attempts at a man-to-man talk. Bianca’s acquires a cheap box of dresses for the stall and they sell well. Bianca discovers Liam’s not at school again. Distraught, Bianca explains to Shirley her terror of going back to prison. Stern, Shirley sends Liam home. Carol advises Bianca to listen to Liam. Bianca cooks Liam his favourite meal but the evening quickly goes sour when Liam starts insulting Bianca. Bianca eventually snaps and Carol arrives home to find her pinning him against the wall.

Patrick takes umbrage when everyone treats him like an old man. But when he attempts to fix a curtain at the B&B he falls off the ladder.

Tamwar unenthusiastically practices for his interview. Carol and Masood worry they’ve failed their children. When Carol’s cooking goes awry at the café, Masood steps in to help. Inspired, they put a proposal together for Lucy and Masood’s soon hired to cook regular batches of curry. Excited, Masood tells Tamwar he’ll get 50p for every portion sold – they’ll get him to university in no time. Glum, Tamwar reveals he got the market assistant job. Masood puts some cash in a jar for Tamwar’s first text book.

Abi despairs - she’s got homework to do, the house is a tip and Lauren’s drinking and playing loud music. Luckily, Jay’s on hand to support her and help with the housework.

Sharon’s annoyed – Joey’s neglected the Valentine’s flyers and is seemingly flirting with a strange woman when he should be working. Her mood changes when the woman explains she’s a wedding planner and wants R&R as a venue, starting with a join stag and hen on Valentine’s Day.
