Ric is caught between his patient and the future of Holby as Serena gears up to take over the running of the hospital in Hanssen's absence. Will he abandon his patient to save the hospital?

Jonny finds himself without his sidekick after he and Mo had an argument last week. He is determined to patch things up, but finds himself questioning her judgement and just can't hold his tongue.

Michael's day starts badly with the news that his children aren't coming home until Christmas, and it goes from bad to worse with the arrival of a new, feisty, HCA who hasn't got time for his pomposity.
