Defending Champion Robert Paxton was up against Israel's Boaz Markus, while there was also plenty of Scottish interest with world No 2 Paul Foster taking on the hugely experienced Willie Wood, and five-time world indoor Champion Alex Marshall up against Hong Kong's Kenny Wong.
