Country Focus goes to market on a busy day at Welshpool livestock Mart.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

It’s been an enjoyable and successful week at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and the winners are counting their success – amongst them is Montomeryshire auctioneer John A Jones of Newhouse Farm near Welshpool. He won the Sir Bryner Jones Memorial Trophy - one of the Society’s most prestigious awards made annually to someone from a different branch of the farming industry - this year to a member of the auctioneering profession.
