There was drama at this stage of the tournament last year as England's Luke Donald dropped four shots in the last four holes to miss the cut. Compatriot Lee Westwood also endured a second round to forget as he joined Donald in failing to make it through to the final two days. But Darren Clarke ended day two in 2011 joint-top of the leaderboard, laying the foundations for his emotional victory.
