Mouldy bread, curdled milk, brown bananas and slimy salad - Scots are throwing out a billion pounds' worth of fresh food every year. What can we do to stop wasting good food?
A recent report shows that we are wasting billions of pounds in the UK by binning good food. Are we too tempted by BOGOFs and special offers? Do we not realise the cost of the food we're throwing away, or have we simply lost our grandparents' "waste not, want not" ethic?
