Mike Pickering

6 Music's celebration of Dance Culture reaches its final week with another influential figure sharing his 6 Music Playlist.

Mike Pickering was a DJ at Manchester's famous Hacienda club and worked for Factory Records, where he signed the Happy Mondays and James. He now works as Head of A&R for Sony BMG's Columbia label, where he's signed the likes of Calvin Harris and the Ting Tings.

He now shares some favourite tracks and musical inspirations.
