Colin Murray and Bobby George are at the Lakeside Country Club as the 2012 Lakeside World Professional Championships get underway. Thirty-two men and eight women will battle it out over the next 9 days for the sport's most prestigious prizes.

Last year's champion and top seed, Martin Adams, starts the defence of his title this afternoon against Scott Mitchell, and they are followed by 2009 runner-up Tony O'Shea against Steve West. Matches are the best-of-5 sets.
