Prom 20: Horrible Histories

Sarah Walker presents a family Prom from 2011, in association with the CBBC television series Horrible Histories. With songs by Richie Webb, stories and orchestral favourites.

BBC PROMS 2011

Recorded at the Royal Albert Hall, London in July

Presented by Sarah Walker

Another chance to hear last summer's family Prom when the Proms teamed up with CBBC's hit television series "Horrible Histories" for a concert of songs by Richie Webb and stories and orchestral favourites, including music by Richard Strauss, Saint-Saƫns, Prokofiev, Vaughan-Williams, Berlioz, Handel, Lully, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Stravinsky. It all adds up to a horrible history of classical music!
