Starting out in Cambridge on the River Cam, Joe begins with a lesson in punting, before visiting the university botanic gardens to discover their impact on Charles Darwin's theories. Next stop is a late night visit to Cherry Hinton quarry, where Joe searches for the elusive glow worms reputed to live there. After a glimpse of Ely cathedral, Joe's final destination is Old Hurst, where he meets a farmer whose diversification plans have more bite than the average smallholding.
