Part one of the psychological thriller about convicted murderer Olive Martin, nicknamed 'the sculptress' following the gruesome killings of her mother and sister. Journalist Rosalind Leigh, writing a book of the macabre story, meets Olive and becomes convinced of her innocence, a view which draws her into a dangerous investigation.
