Dot is totally thrown by her sister Rose's lavish lifestyle in Southend but soon learns she has something to hide. Heather finds herself an admirer in Southend, much to Shirley's displeasure. Denise and Patrick reach an upsetting conclusion when Kim arrives home after a night out looking the worse for wear.
