Eddie retrieves a metal toolbox from the pile of burnt, ruined furniture. Jack and Michael talk about Ronnie, Michael insists he was just protecting Jack, but knows what he did was despicable. Jack is initially unmoved, but later buys Michael a drink. Still certain Michael started the fire, Eddie tells Jack Michael claimed he slept with Ronnie. Furious, Jack follows Michael to the gents and violently attacks him as Eddie stands outside.

Tyler and Anthony fill the Emporium with Kat and Alfie’s furniture. Jean’s shocked, but Eddie persuades her it was her idea and promises not to sell anything. Eddie claims Mad Dog’s old desk as his own. Anthony teases Eddie about an old telephone; he can’t use it for his secret calls to his secret girlfriends. Anthony and Tyler compete to sell a wooden elephant.

Afia’s unimpressed when Yusef insists she should listen to her husband, backing up Zainab. To annoy Tamwar, Afia makes him wait for his tablecloths, then buys a wooden elephant from the Emporium. Yusef promises Zainab he’ll never act on his feelings for her again. He knocks Zainab’s handbag to the floor, then conceals her sleeping pills. Zainab frantically searches for them and Masood’s concerned when Zainab mentions medication. Yusef gives Zainab a bottle of new pills.

During her trial shift at the café, Lola manages to impress Shirley who offers her the job. When Liam tells Lola Eddie’s given him a job, she reveals she started the fire.

Tanya’s worried that Vanessa knows she and Max are having an affair. Driven mad by Vanessa’s cleaning, Max rebelliously messes up the cutlery drawer.

Dot’s kind, letting Rainie use her bath then giving her a bible. Rainie apologises to Tanya for the trouble she’s caused. To Greg’s dismay Tanya tells Rainie she can stay.
