Riley favourites Erland & the Carnival return to the 6 Music studio. Plus as its a Tuesday, Cowboy Rob Hughes will be bringing in some Americana tunes.
Erland & the Carnival re-enter our studio armed with new material. They don't hang around those lads: after 2010's self titled debut they are back already with a new album 'Nightingale', out this month.
Currently touring the UK before heading off around Europe, Erland Cooper, Simon Tong and David Nock have made a change to their old folk ways; Nightingale is darkly poppy, slightly twisted and even takes inspiration from 1970's poltergeist photos.
