Manchester United host rivals Manchester City in the day's early kick-off. Arsenal are in action against Wolves, who they have not lost to in the league since 1979, while Aston Villa travel to Blackpool, 81 years since the two sides first met in the top flight. Rangers entertain Motherwell in the Scottish Premier League hoping to pile the pressure on Old Firm neighbours Celtic.
