Antonello Manacorda conducts the BBC Philharmonic in works by Mozart, with former New Generation Artist Shai Wosner the soloist for Mozart's Piano Concerto No 22, K482.
The BBC Philharmonic is joined by former New Generation Artist Shai Wosner in the E flat Concerto (K 482), in which the winds of the BBC Philharmonic almost share equal billing with the piano soloist. One of mozart's exploratory Fantasias provides a centrepiece and the programme begins with the arresting overture to his penultimate opera, Die Zauberflote.
