John travels to Carrickfergus to visit Ireland’s sole surviving coal gasworks. He’ll be asking some Rural women what do you really need to live in the country & we'll hear of some winter tips.
This week on the Saturday Magazine programme John Toal travels to Carrickfergus to visit Ireland’s sole surviving coal gasworks which opened in 1855 and he speaks to Retired Manager, Sam Gault about the history and the attraction of the Flame Gasworks. He’ll be asking some Rural women what do you really need to live in the country……… and as colder nights creep in we’ll hear of some winter tips on how to prepare yourself and your home for winter.
Paula McIntyre is live in the studio cooking Pasta with sausage and Francis Jones is on hand with latest music releases.
