Martin McGuinness admits that he met alleged IRA priest Father Chesney after all. So was it selective amnesia or a genuine mistake?
Deputy First Minster Martin McGuinness features prominently in all the local papers this morning after he admitted he did meet suspected IRA priest father James Chesney after all. In 2002 Mr. McGuinness told a BBC Spotlight programme he had no recollection of meeting the rogue priest and republican sympathiser, but yesterday he came clean and said he visited him on his death bed in Donegal. So was it selective amnesia or a genuine mistake?
