Day 4 - Part 2

John Inverdale introduces a busy night of European Championships athletics, with 10 gold medals up for grabs. Both the men's and women's 400m titles will be contested with several British athletes, including Martyn Rooney, going for gold. There should also be a British presence in the track finals of the men's 110m hurdles, 200m and 1500m and in the women's 400m hurdles and 800m. In the field events the women take centre stage as the pole vault and hammer competitions reach their climax.
