Marc has a session from hot new Welsh band Y Niwl or, as we non-Welsh say, The Fog. The band features Alun Tan Yan and Sian, who plays with Cate Le Bon.
In session tonight we've hot new Welsh band Y Niwl or, as we non-Welsh say, The Fog. Featuring amongst others Alun Tan Yan and Sian, who plays with Cate Le Bon.
Y Niwl may not come from the sun-soaked shores of California, but this Welsh four-piece ride the wave of that classic organ sound, while the percussion shuffles and the guitar and bass duel on a wash of reverb. According to the band's own website, they practice on the Crib Goch in Snowdonia, sometimes playing the same song for weeks on end.
