Janey Lee Grace leads a musical tribute to Cornwall in this week's Friday Night Is Music Night recorded at the Mermaid Theatre, with special guests Sarah Pring and Adrian Clarke.
Friday Night Is Music Night casts its sights south-west this week in a celebration of the music of Cornwall recorded at London's Mermaid Theatre. Presenter Janey Lee Grace introduces pieces inspired by the history and beauty of the county including works by Malcolm Arnold, Ravel and this week's conductor Mike Dixon. And of course the evening wouldn't be complete without a nod to Gilbert & Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance. Special guests include Sarah Pring and Adrian Clarke, who add their voices to the BBC Concert Orchestra.
