From parents battling to keep their kids on the straight and narrow to people fighting for community projects, the series offers a snapshot of life in modern day Scotland.
One family struggles to cope with its eldest son's addiction, and a tragedy for another family halts plans to reopen the community centre. A single mum tries to keep her daughter on the right track, while a couple prepare for the big annual gardening competition.
