I will only resign if I'm asked by the Holy Father says Cardinal Brady over claims he helped cover up sex abuse.
Unless he's specifically asked to resign by Pope Benedict, Cardinal Sean Brady says he's staying put. The head of the Catholic Church in Ireland is under pressure to go after it was revealed that he was present at meetings in the mid seventies where two young victims of the notorious child abuser Father Brendan Smyth were asked to sign oaths of silence about their complaints
