Jonathan Swain presents a week showcasing the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, with a special live concert from them on Thursday from City Halls, Glasgow.
The week also features performances from the recent Royal Northern College of Music Festival of Brass in Manchester, with Foden's Band, The Cory Band and Black Dyke Band.
Other highlights this week include the recent British premiere of Polish composer Roman Maciejewski's monumental Requiem, Missa pro defunctis, plus a chance to hear some newly released CDs from BBC orchestras.
