Women's Heats 1 and 2

Coverage from the Whistler Sliding Centre, where the first day of the women's bobsleigh is taking place.

Day one involves two runs, and British fans will be anxious to see how Nicola Minichiello and Gillian Cooke fare. The pair caused an upset when winning the 2009 world title, and will be looking to prove that was no fluke.

But up against them will be the German crew led by Sandra Kiriasis, who is the defending champion and one of the sport's dominant forces.
