Trevor's Album Of The Week is the self-titled solo debut from Teddy Pendergrass (1977). Theodore "Teddy" DeReese Pendergrass Sr. (born 26 March 1950) is an American R&B/soul singer and songwriter, also known as Teddy P, TP, or Teddy Bear. He began his musical career as a drummer, before becoming lead vocalist with the Blue Notes, then embarking upon a solo career in 1976 and recording five consecutive multi-platinum albums.
