Jim is looking ahead and planting spring cabbage in the vegetable plot while Carole is still harvesting - sweetcorn, blueberries and a new crop of Saskatoon berries.

Lesley is fittingly in the equinox border, the garden that is at its best at the time of both the equinoxes, and right now is full of autumnal colour. And in that wee garden, Lesley looks ahead to spring and examines some inspirational bulb combinations.

George is with Anna Dickie in Haddington. Anna has an old water tank which she would like to recycle and George transforms it into a pretty planted pond for all the frogs that Anna has in the garden.

Carole is in St Andrews and Auchterarder to revisit two of her problem corners from a few years back to see if they have worked. Carole is pleasantly surprised by the results but even more pleased that both families have taken to gardening as a result.
