In each episode he takes the hard-earned cash of one set of contributors and sets out on a nationwide adventure to buy, restore and sell all manner of objects to try and deliver a healthy profit.

Peter and Jenny Warren from Bristol are hoping Paul can grow their 5000 pounds savings to fund a trip to Australia to visit their daughter. With so much money to play with, Paul has to take some big risks, and he's terrified of going back to them with less money than he started.
