Northumberland Hills

Ellie Harrison goes on a journey into the undiscovered country of the Northumberland National Park.

En route, she travels in a 1950s ice-cream van and spends time with the modern-day lumberjacks of Kielder Forest. Finally, she catches up with a couple who left the urban sprawl of Newcastle to settle in a remote moorland landscape.
